The girls walked into the store together. They had been told what they were supposed to do the day before and now they were starting work. They smiled.
"The perfect place to work," Paris said.
"You said it," Ryan replied.

Ryan walked in hoping to get an application for a job he really needed. He walked up to the front register.

Reese had been sitting on the counter of the store. He had been working here for a few months, and was now surrounded by new people, "Well, glad to be the veteran." He said, smiling at all of them, "I'm Reese."

"Yeah. Sure." Reese hopped off the counter and went behind it, rummaging through papers on a shelf he grabbed one and handed it to Ryan. "Knowing the boss, you'll prolly get the job." He hopped back onto the counter.

Reese quickly shook his head, "I'm only 16! I'm not the boss." He said, laughing. But shook Ryan's hand anyway. "I've been working here for like... 5 months. So, I know him pretty well."

Reese smirked, "Yeah. Hang on." He hopped down, "Jeremy!" He walked past a door that said, employees only. He came out about 5 minutes later. "He says 'Skip the application and the interview, you got the job.'" Reese reoccupied his seat on the counter.

Paris and Ryan smiled at everyone. Paris was shy but Ryan was totally in her element. "Hey, I'm Ryan," she said to everyone. "And this is my cousin Paris."
